Christmas Day at Mr and Mrs Shorts House. So many fond memories. I was always accepted and appreciated it. Max, me in the middle being saucy and Johnny Mesh , I guess the Rubik’s Cube was king then.
I found another picture of Mr Short and his Grandson Johnny . I remember walking to the Shorts house on Christmas Day with my new vest and sweatshirt on, but having the opportunity to take that goat in my arms was special. I have so many memories of my times on Fisherman’s Road.
We had a wonderful visit from Mom and Dad and most of the Delaney Clan today….was special….mom and dad took a moment to cuddle as they waited for me to BBQ!! they look so cozy!!

I met my good friend Keven Ash in Toronto a few years back while attending a Winter Lights Symposium, his mother lived in Riverhead (Beth Ash) and in 1989 his family visited the River for Christmas, here is a picture of his kids Michael and Lindsay playing in the snow. This is a oldie, I love it, some of the gentlemen of Riverhead Hr. Grace at the last barn dance at St. Joseph’s School. I do have memories of Mr. Dick Doran and Mr. Andy Short, especially coming to church, and laying their hat on the big window sills in the church.( Thanks Tony Galway for posting a long time ago and for everyone who commented and added information on the FB Page Riverhead pictures)
