For most of us we have been celebrating March 17 St. Patrick’s Day for at least 3 days now, and for some over the past week. It is a wonderful celebration of Ireland, its music, food, scenery and friendly people. This day is known by a lot of names including St. Patrick’s, St. Paddy’s Day. St.Pat’s Day, St. Patty’s Day and to be honest with you I am not totally sure what is right (except for St. Patrick’s Day) , it is indeed up to you unless someone takes exception like Dublin Airport. Here is a pic of their advisory:
St. Patrick’s Day in my house is certainly a family event, most that come to our family party as just that, family, but we do have those who do drop in. We ensure it is a day filled with music, food, games, drink and did I mention food? Everyone who visits usually brings some type of grog bit for us all to sample and My wife Lisa makes sure the kids have plenty of games for young and old.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day to everyone, here is a instagram from some of the gang out our 2014 party!!
