Count Down to St. Patrick’s Day!!

Cable Building

This was me raising the Flag of Ireland at the Bay Roberts Town Council Office a couple years ago!!

It is hard to believe but there are just 24 days till St. Patrick’s day!! In Newfoundland and Labrador the celebration lasts for about 10 days (including two weekends)
To get everyone in the mood , I wanted to post a few pictures of my trip to Ireland a few years back. I always find it fascinating when I review these pictures. For, me, it was a trip of a live time!!

While staying in Doolin we had the opportunity to take a helicopter trip to fly over the Cliffs of Moher. there was also a opportunity to repel out of the flying machine, we all had a opportunity to but in our name to do so, they all knew I hate heights , so they all found it very amusing to write my name on all the pieces of paper, needles to say I almost soiled me drawers, I was happy to find our this was a joke on me.!!

Ireland will captivate you, it is historic land steeped in history and song, but its natural beauty and kind people “will steal your heart a-way!”
